BMW 1600 Spare Tire Sizes

The BMW 1600 has used a 5x120mm bolt pattern for all models from 1967 to 1971 along with a tire diameter of 23.4" tall. Using a temporary spare tire with a diameter close to the standard tire has many benefits, especially for modern vehicle applications. Tire diameter as well as wheel diameter clearance have been taken into account for BMW 1600 spare tire selections. In this case, a 125/70R16 temporary spare tire is the recommendation for all applications.
