The overall tire height (not the wheel size) is the consideration for the spare tire fitment. The 18" spare wheel is then chosen for proper fitment and not interfere with the brake or suspension system. This is regardless of the OEM wheel option that came on the vehicle.

Do all the years in this generation take the same spare? Yes, however there was a facelift in 2022 so you may notice a small difference in looks from other RDX models in the year range. The spare will fit all of them including A-Spec versions.
