A 125/80R18 spare size is within the accepted tolerance range for temporary use with all OEM tire diameters for this Audi generation.

The overall tire height (not the wheel size) is the consideration for the spare tire fitment. The 18" spare wheel is then chosen for proper fitment and not interfere with the brake or suspension system. This is regardless of the OEM wheel option that came on the vehicle.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have a 2025 model but I see two separate year range options. Which one do I choose? When manufacturers create a new model while still selling the current one, both generations are sold in the same year. You will need to determine which generation your model is and select the correct year range to be shown the spare tire that's right for you. In this case, the 2017-25 or the new 2025 model.

Some A5 vehicles from these years vary in appearance, will this spare work for mine? Yes. The redesign in 2020 only affected appearance and has no bearing on the spare tire. If the A5 version matches yours, this is correct.

Note: This compact spare tire is intended only to be used temporarily in the event of a flat tire. This spare permits drivers to continue their travels to their destination or to a service provider to repair or replace the vehicle’s damaged tire.
