The overall tire height (not the wheel size) is the consideration for the spare tire fitment. The 18" spare wheel is then chosen for proper fitment and not interfere with the brake or suspension system. This is regardless of the OEM wheel option that came on the vehicle.

Some Flex vehicles in this year range don't match the look of mine, is this the correct spare? Yes. There was a facelift redesign in 2013 that changed the look of the car, but it makes no difference to the spare tire selection.
