A 145/85R18 spare size is within the accepted tolerance range for temporary use with all OEM tire diameters for this Jeep generation.

The overall tire height (not the wheel size) is the consideration for the spare tire fitment. The 18" spare wheel is then chosen for proper fitment and not interfere with the brake or suspension system. This is regardless of the OEM wheel option that came on the vehicle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are there two year range choices for my Compass? The generations cross-over in 2017. The 2007-17 uses a 5-4.5" bolt pattern and the newer model uses a 5-110mm. You'll need to select the correct generation for your vehicle.

I've seen other Compass models in this year range that don't look like mine, is this the right spare? Yes. There was a facelift redesign in 2021 that updated the styling, but spare requirements stayed the same. As long as your Compass look up is correct, this is the spare.

Note: This compact spare tire is intended only to be used temporarily in the event of a flat tire. This spare permits drivers to continue their travels to their destination or to a service provider to repair or replace the vehicle’s damaged tire.
