Mercury Topaz Spare Tire Sizes
The Mercury Topaz has used a 4x108mm (4 x 4.25") bolt pattern for all models from 1984 to 1994 along with tire diameters ranging from 23.7" to 24.2" tall. Using a temporary spare tire with a diameter close to the standard tire has many benefits, especially for modern vehicle applications. Tire diameter as well as wheel diameter clearance have been taken into account for the specific Mercury Topaz years and options. In this case, a 125/70R17 temporary spare tire is the recommendation for all applications.
