1974-1989 Porsche 911 Spare Tire

Spare Tire Options

1974-1989 Porsche 911 Coupe, Cabriolet, and Targa models including Carrera and Turbo versions require a 5x130 mm wheel and spare tire size that we do not have a solution for.

We've provided (spare tire only) fitment options below, but a spare wheel with the correct diameter, width, offset, bolt pattern, and hub size would be needed separately. A spare wheel might be found at a used parts store from the same vehicle type.

Another more DIY approach would be to find a wheel from another vehicle with matching wheel specifications. You can find a list of vehicles with the same bolt pattern, lug type, lug thread, and hub size at least as big

Note: For owners of Carrera, Speedster, or 911SC versions .

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is there more than one year range to choose from for my 911? Porsche had multiple times where they over lapped model changes and sold two different generations in the same year. This Spare is for the 1974-1989 vehicles.

My vehicle has different tire sizes on the front and rear, will the spare work for both? In this case yes. If there was an issue with a staggered fitment then either the issue will be addressed in the description, or you will not find a listing on our site for that specific vehicle option.
