Spare Tire Options
1996-2004 Volvo S40 models require a 4x4.5" (114.3 mm) wheel and spare tire size that we do not have a solution for.
We've provided (spare tire only) fitment options below, but a spare wheel with the correct diameter, width, offset, bolt pattern, and hub size would be needed separately.
A spare wheel might be found at a used parts store from the same vehicle type.
Another more DIY approach would be to find a wheel from another vehicle with matching wheel specifications.

Verified Fitment
This 16" spare will work with the OEM 15" or 16" wheels. The wheel has been chosen for clearance and the tire has been matched for diameter.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are there two year range choices for my S40? When manufacturers create a new model while still selling the current one, both generations are sold in the same year. In this case the 2004 was the cross-over. The older model has a 4-lug bolt pattern so you will need to determine the correct year range for your car.
