The overall tire height (not the wheel size) is the consideration for the spare tire fitment. The 17" spare wheel is then chosen for proper fitment and not interfere with the brake or suspension system. This is regardless of the OEM wheel option that came on the vehicle.
Frequently Asked Questions
There are two year range choices for my S40? Both generations were sold in 2004. The newer model has a 5-lug bolt pattern and the older has a 4-lug. You'll need to determine the correct year range for your car to find the spare for you.
